So here I am back with part 3. Introvert are themselves are curious creatures to handle. People may wonder whether introverts are mentally unhealthy. But no, introverts are just a bit reserved.
- During small talks, we introverts either smile or plan an escape.
- When asked for weekend plans our only plan is staying at home doing literally nothing.
- If asked for a social gathering impromptu response, “I’ll have to check my schedule.”
- Quiet in groups. Loud between me and you.
- Leaving a store without finding what we needed because we didn’t want to bother somebody for help.
If this is the case with you too, do like, share and comment your experiences.
I’ve been enjoying this series. Some of them resonate a lot (like 3, 4, and 5 for sure). Others not so much. In small groups I love interacting with people – but then I need my time away to recharge. So sometimes I wonder if I’m less of an introvert and more of an extrovert who is bad at conversation with strangers :-). I’ve been seeing folks talking about being an “ambivert” some recently and I wonder if that doesn’t describe me to some extent. I need both my social time and my alone time equally. Not enough of either and I’m not happy.

Thanks a lot for liking it Todd. If you feel so, I guess you are more of an ambivert. 🙂

Leaving a place if it gets too loud. Coming up with an excuse to leave a party early. I’m definitely an introvert haha! So glad I stumbled on this, keep it coming x

I believe there are many extroverts who respect the space of introvert. Its all about finding the like minded soul who UNDERSTAND feelings. I turn extrovert with my close friends and they turning introverts at time to keep that balance in relationship

I second you on this. And its great if extroverts can understand introverts. But generally introverts are treated like they are some other species all together. It is just that there is a behavioural difference and not any disorder.

Introverts anyways do not care for attention. If they consider it disorder, so be it- our lives wouldnt change, we move until we meet the next heart who appreciates our feeling. My view
